In the Pursuit of Excellence

The 'Pursuit of Excellence' - a fabulous value, also an Olympic value. We discussed what this means. We also read about Mahe Drysdale - an example of someone in the pursuit of excellence and how he 'gave it everything' in the Beijing Olympics to win the bronze medal. Overcoming large obstacles in his way.

There are many many more examples out there of people who are in the pursuit of excellence. Your homework task is to research someone and design a poster outlining examples of their qualities and behaviours that show this. Today you received a homework sheet giving you more information about this task.

    Mrs Cleland I will not be able to particapate tomorrow at netball because my mother has an apointment at the hospital I hope you are felling much better.
